I started 2019 intending to become a consistent writer with a post here every week. As the year draws to a close, I am shocked to report that it has pretty much happened!
It has been a wrestling match against a formidable opponent. That all to familiar voice that breaths down my neck and says…“this is dumb”…“you sound stupid”…“no one cares.” Which might be the case, but I wrote and posted anyway.
As once someone that only starts and never finishes, I now have experience of not entertaining distractions to avoid discomfort. With a mind that unceasingly seems to go in four directions, writing has helped clarify my thinking and (almost) clear my mind.
It’s like a gift I gave myself this Christmas!
Looking forward to 2020, I have the first 28 posts laid out. My new hope is to have people read them, and that’s why I need you!
