It is creating a moment of connection for anyone that wants to open up to new possibilities.
I’ve got the system laid out. I will create an open slot on my calendar each day at 12:30 CT. If that time doesn’t work we can find another.
At first, I want to practice with folks that I know from around Akimbo. They have an openness to changing their perspective. Then I will branch out from there.
The hard part for me will be to cease giving advice or sharing ideas. Maybe that will be for setting up a follow-up meeting where there are separate agreements around the time.
The call will end with…What will you take with you from our call?
I will follow up the next day and ask them how they are doing.
I also want to write up a reflection and post it somewhere. I am going to seek out support and accountability. Maybe in the Sonder section of forward link.
In taking this dailie practice into the world, I will start with inviting folks in Akimboland.
The first action step is to clarify how I am going to set the stage. A four-step process I am thinking about is:
- Invite an individual
- Set a time on the calendar
- Send the pre-call reflection questions
- Have the 20-minute call
I want to be intentional with the pre-call process to set the stage.
Email correspondence to allow for asymmetrical processing:
This time is for you. What do you want the agenda to be?
Or we can dig into one of these questions:
- What are you trying to bring into the world?
- Where is the Resistance showing up?
- What do you need?
- What small action are you unable to make?
Once a day, for the next one hundred days, I will intentionally set up a space for connection.

My intent is not to impress you with how smart I am or give you advice.
But I seek to see where you are at, clarify where you are going and help you on your way.
